The Chattahoochee Valley region is home to approximately 1,500 homeless individuals, many of whom choose to remain unsheltered. For years, Valley Rescue Mission volunteers have systematically sought out those living underneath bridges, in abandoned buildings, or in the woods.

We bring them food, water, blankets, minor medical supplies, but above all that we strive to bring them hope…hope that this is not all that life has to offer them…hope that there are caring people in the world…hope that their future can be much brighter than their past or present. Relationships are built, and from time to time one of these men will leave an unhealthy life in the elements to turn to the services the Mission has to offer…and the God we represent.
