OUR SHELTERS

Valley Rescue Mission’s shelters provide more than a safe place to sleep—they offer hope, dignity, and a path forward. We walk through the valley with men, women, and families facing homelessness by meeting their immediate needs with shelter, meals, and compassionate care, while also guiding them toward long-term success. Through supportive services, spiritual encouragement, and individualized next steps, our shelters serve as the starting point for healing, stability, and restored lives—reminding every person who enters our doors that they are not alone and their story is not over.

Valley Rescue Mission offers a Transitional Living Program (TLP) for men experiencing homelessness. The program is designed to transition men from homelessness to permanent housing in a safe, sober, Christian environment. Men accepted into the program have complete access to hot showers, three meals per day, laundry facilities, a computer lab, and so much more.

Men are guided through the benefits of budgeting while having financial independence while working. They are given opportunities to attend bible studies, devotionals encouraged to take advantage of resources in place to assist in the acquisition of permanent residency.

 Brandy Nichols

Women's Ministry Supervisor

Evidence of Brandy's Transformation through Jesus Christ

My name is Brandy Nichols, and my story is one of redemption, grace, and transformation. For over 15 years, I was trapped in addiction, cycling in and out of jail, and ultimately losing my son because of my choices. My life was broken, and I felt hopeless.

In 2018, I made the life-changing decision to seek recovery at Valley Rescue Mission. There, I surrendered my life to Christ and discovered my true identity in Him. It was in that place of restoration that I found healing, purpose, and a new way of living. Today, I have the privilege of working at a women’s recovery center and shelter, serving those who are walking the same difficult path I once did. This mission is more than just a place for recovery—it is a refuge for the lost, a sanctuary of healing, and a foundation for rebuilding lives. Here, women and children find hope, stability, and a fresh start through faith, support, and love.
