Valley Rescue Mission is blessed with the opportunity to provide an amazing Horticulture program option for the clients to participate in.  This work therapy program is offered to men in the Crossroads Recovery Program. Horticulture teaches the clients valuable work ethics, while integrating scripture in the life lessons they learn while in the program. They are able to nurture seedlings into full maturity and send them back out into the world to bless others. This is a beautiful example of the opportunity they are given by God for personal growth before re-entry. 

​  Our Horticulture Supervisor, Dustin Waldrep, has the pleasure of teaching the Men about many different types of flowers, plants and vegetables, while sharing God's grace in his own life. Him and his teams grow the flowers, plants and vegetables all year long, and sale them in the spring and fall to raise money to go back into the ministry.

  This helps ensure all of our clients receive free residency while at Valley Rescue Mission. All of our recovery programs, for both men and women, are 100% donor funded and supported by opportunities such as the Horticulture program.
