
RECOVERY CENTERS
Valley Rescue Mission’s Recovery Programs provide men and women with a safe, supportive, and faith-based environment to overcome addiction and rebuild their lives. Through structured discipleship, counseling, life-skills training, and spiritual growth, participants are given the tools they need to achieve lasting recovery, restore relationships, and move toward independent, purpose-driven living—all at no cost to them, thanks to the generosity of our community.
Life altering circumstances knows no boundaries, they affect people of all ages, backgrounds, ethnicity, social status and walks of life, often leaving individuals and their loved ones searching for hope. At Valley Rescue Mission, we are committed to helping people break free from life threatening challenges by equipping them with essential life skills and Faith-based support. Through a Christ-centered approach, we offer structured support that fosters healing, restoration, and transformation. Our peer led recovery programs are designed to address all types of challenges and to confront any habits that may hinder lasting success.​ By focusing on rebuilding lives, strengthening families, and nurturing spiritual growth, we walk alongside individuals on their journey toward freedom. No one has to face this battle alone— Valley Rescue Mission is here to offer guidance, support, and a renewed sense of purpose for those ready to take the first step toward recovery. All of our recovery programs are absolutely FREE with no intake fee. We do not require nor bill insurance. Our 9 to 12-month residential recovery programs, focused on combating destructive behavior, are 100% donor funded.
MEN'S RECOVERY PROGRAM
Phase 1 - The Mott: The initial 90-day evaluation period is located at our Columbus, Georgia Howard Mott's Men's Center. The men engage in opportunities to attend chapel services, daily devotions, bible study classes, Christ based recovery classes and work therapy. Successful completion of this stage leads the men to their second phase of recovery.

Phase 2 - Crossroads: Located in Hamilton, Georgia, our Crossroads program empowers men to overcome addiction through the redemption of Jesus Christ. They learn to rebuild relationships, gain self-esteem, and develop discipline. They are offered engagements such as bible studies, parenting classes, horticulture, woodworking, small engine repair, life skills studies, and Christ based recovery classes. Studies are four hours daily, alongside four hours of work therapy. Men serve the community through outreach efforts and engage in community events, including weekly worship services at churches throughout the community.
Phase 3 - Aftercare: We provide an optional aftercare program period for graduates. Our aftercare program is located in Columbus, Georgia. Our Aftercare program aids in transitioning back into society by offering guidance with necessary life skills. Some of those include goal setting, resume writing, interview skills, finding employment, budgeting awareness through financial independence, accountability, and continual mentoring through their early stages of re-entry. We also offer internal Servant Leader positions and employment opportunities with Valley Rescue Mission for individuals when available.
WOMEN'S RECOVERY PROGRAM
Our Christ based Women's Recovery program provides a safe space for women to heal, develop healthier habits and the opportunity to learn self-discipline. Our programs nurtures the steps to build better relationships with family, friends, and society. The women are given the chance to gain self esteem and the confidence to overcome life's crippling challenges. Women do this by discovering their worthiness through God's unconditional love.

Phases 1 & 2 - WARC: The women are given the opportunity to embrace the belief that anything is possible through Jesus Christ. They engage in bible studies, parenting classes, sewing classes, crafting, life skills, and Christ based recovery classes. These phases also cover resume writing, job applications, interview skills, and various areas focused on career development. Studies are four hours daily, alongside four hours of work therapy. Women actively contribute to the community through local outreach initiatives and attended weekly services in community churches.
Phase 3 - Aftercare: Our three-month aftercare program offers a safe environment for graduates to continue recovery and family restoration while reintegrating into society. Participants guided during setting goals in spiritual, personal, educational, social, financial , finding employment and permanent housing.
