Valley Rescue Mission is a Christ-centered nonprofit serving men, women, and children in Columbus, Georgia, who are experiencing homelessness, addiction, and life-controlling challenges. For decades, we have been a place of refuge — offering food, shelter, recovery programs, and the life-changing hope found through Jesus Christ. Because of the generosity of our community, lives are being restored every single day.
MENS SHELTER- TRANSITIONAL LIVING PROGRAM
THE TRANSITIONAL LIVING PROGRAM (TLP) HELPS HOMELSS MEN TRANSITION BACK INTO STABLE HOUSING AND OCCUPATIONS BY NOT ONLY PROVIDING, TEMPORARY SHELTER BUT CHALLENGING THEM TO SEEK CHRIST AND PARTICIPATE IN FINANCIAL CLASSES, BIBLE STUDY AND JOB PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITIES.
A safe shelter for women and children where we focus on meeting their physical, spiritual and material needs through the clothing closet, bible study, parenting classes, and more.
THIS MINISTRY PROVIDES A HOT MEAL TO OVER 120 PEOPLE IN NEED EACH DAY.
ADDICTION RECOVERY PROGRAM
Our 9-12 month Christ centered addiction recovery programs for men and women focus on breaking addictions through spiritual healing and life skill classes.
FAMILY SERVICES
THIS MINISTRY PROVIDES GROCERIES AND CLOTHING TO INDIVIDUALS WHO QUALIFY.
