Sarai's Testimony

y name is Sarai, I’m 42 years old, and today I celebrate one year of sobriety and graduating with a heart on fire for Jesus.

My story didn’t start here. I grew up in trauma, loss, and addiction. At a young age, my life was shaken by tragedy, and the darkness that followed led me down a path of brokenness and substance abuse. For years, I searched for something to fill the void in my heart.

But God never stopped pursuing me.

Through Valley Rescue Mission, the Lord met me in my wilderness and began restoring my life. I surrendered, and everything started to change. He healed my heart, broke the chains of addiction, and restored what I thought was lost—including my relationship with my daughter.

Today, I walk in freedom. Generational curses are broken. I am a new creation in Christ.
